Last updated 2026-10-07. These terms cover the TrueQuote website, the free quote check and comparison tools, and the paid quote audit.

What you get

The free 10-point quote check and quote comparison tools are free with no account. A quote audit costs A$19 flat (AUD, GST incl.), per audit, no subscription. The audit returns a written verdict (Ready to sign, Gaps to fix, or Do not sign) plus talking points, targeted within 24 hours of filing, delivered digitally with a copy by email.

Refund policy

We aim to deliver your written verdict within 24 hours of filing; if we miss that, we will refund the audit. If the report misses an item against the 10-point checklist, tell us within 7 days and we will re-run it or refund you. Refunds go back to the original payment method. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

General information, not advice

Everything on this site is general information only. The audit checks whether a quote is complete against our 10-point checklist; it does not judge whether the price is fair, it is not legal advice, and it does not interpret your contract. Outcomes depend on your quote, your tradie, and your state's rules.

Payments

Payments are processed in Stripe TEST MODE and PayPal Sandbox while the site is in staged preview, so no real money changes hands until the site is switched to live payments.
